Who's There? ⎟ Who's There?, interactive sound intervention, 2025; Dorambari family house, Prizren, Kosovo
WHO’S THERE? | WHO’S THERE?
Upon entering the house, visitors find themselves in an unexpected situation: a knock on the door is heard from the heart of the house.
This Ottoman house in Pristina's Old Town belongs to the Dorambari family. Traditionally, such smaller buildings with a street front were intended for guests, with the family home located behind them. This guesthouse has lost its function over time and has long been empty. It bears witness to the city's distant and recent history. In this context, the work Who’s there/Who’s there? not only triggers visitors to reflect on the situation they find themselves in at this very moment, but also on the complexity of the situation in this area, caught in the moment between past and future.
