4 x 3 Minutes
For the first time in more than two decades my generation from the art academy in Ljubljana got together for an exhibition. The show was initiated and organised by our collegue Jure Zadnikar.
For this occasion I made a video with Lojze, a long-time model at the academy.
The project consists of video recordings of four sketches I made of the model Lojze in 1989 and, in the same poses, Lojze himself 25 years later. The duration of each single video sequence is three minutes, which refers to “three-minute quick sketches”, a time-limited drawing exercise that students practised at the art academy..
